Looking good for a reason
The rounded shape of BeoLab 2 is not an incidental design decision. The lack of sharp corners and edges reduces noise diffractions and reflections. Whether it is standing in the corner or out in the open, manual filters can be selected to adapt the bass level accordingly. But there is no reason to hide it away. BeoLab 2 is designed to be seen, resting attractively on its rubber base.


Power to spare
BeoLab 2 increases performance while reducing the overall dimensions of the speaker cabinet. This is achieved by utilising ICEpower technology for the powerful 850-watt amplifier. ICEpower is the key to producing a sound performance previously impossible from a subwoofer this size. The effect of vibrations is always a challenge with powerful subwoofers. BeoLab 2 solves this problem in an ingenious and simple manner; two passive loudspeaker units placed directly opposite each other cancel out each other's movements. The rubber ring base also insulates between BeoLab 2 and the floor.
