BeoLab 3

Impressive little number
Looks can be deceiving. Especially when you see BeoLab 3 for the first time. Although it is small and compact, it delivers a sound that will astonish you with its power, precision and depth. BeoLab 3 out-performs any similarly proportioned loudspeaker available today, producing 250 watts of impressive sound. Combine them with the similarly styled BeoLab 2 sub-woofer to handle the lowest spectrum, and you are ready to take on any challenge from action movies to dance music – and anything in between.



Acoustic freedom
BeoLab 3 can be placed anywhere: on a wall, a shelf or on its floor stand. The unique Acoustic Lens Technology, also found in the top-of-the-range BeoLab 5, gives you freedom of placement without loss of acoustic quality. The equal dispersion of high-frequency sound in a 180° arc means that the sound experience is perfect in any listening position. Additionally, as the acoustic lens limits sound reflections from the floor and ceiling, the lens also ensures that you obtain a consistent and precise sound experience. The new technologies in BeoLab 3 produce impressive results, whether you choose to upgrade your current music system or pair them with e.g. BeoCenter 2.











A contradiction in size versus sound
Made out of solid aluminium, and now available in a range of colours, BeoLab 3 can sit casually on a table on its solid rubber base or table stands, perhaps connected to your computer.


The two ICEpower amplifiers in each BeoLab 3 produce very little excess heat, so there is no need for the cooling space often necessary with traditional active loudspeaker construction. A conventional speaker would have to be about ten times the size of BeoLab 3 to deliver a comparable sound. The speakers have three pre-set bass settings for placement in corners, against walls, or freestanding in a room. This is made possible through Adaptive Bass Control technology, exclusive to Bang & Olufsen.
