Presenting BeoSound 6

Your BeoSound 6 is a portable MP3 player which allows you to bring music from your PC outside your home. Use the BeoPlayer software to organise your music files and copy tracks directly from your N.MUSIC library.

With 4 GB flash storage, you can store hours of your favourite tracks and organise them as you like. BeoSound 6 supports most known music formats and you can transfer album covers as well, which adds to the number of ways to view and organise your music. In addition, BeoPlayer enables audio playback, while you organise you tracks.

Getting started

Once your MP3 player is connected, BeoPlayer automatically detects the device and scanning of the device starts.

To view your device, activate BeoPlayer and click N.MUSIC, then click Copy at the lower left hand side. On the BeoSound 6, tracks can be browsed by Albums, Artists, Genre, Titles, and finally Playlists.

Copy music to BeoSound 6

Make sure your device is connected to your PC via the USB cable. In BeoPlayer, choose how to view your tracks by Albums, Artists, Genre, Titles or Playlists. Drag and drop your tracks to your MP3 player, which needs to be in playlist view. You can only copy from N.MUSIC stored on your PC to a portable device but, not the other way around.

Note that you cannot select tracks from the folder ‘Removed’. If you want to use tracks from ‘Removed’, restore tracks by right clicking tracks and choose the option ‘Restore’.

From CD

If you want to copy tracks from a CD, you need to copy to your PC beforehand. When you have copied tracks to your PC, you can transfer them to your MP3 player.
