Search for tracks, stations or photos.

BeoPlayer helps you find the track, station or photo you are looking for.

N.MUSIC

Use your keyboard to enter the name or number of a specific track, or the name of a group in the current sorting, e.g. 'Blues'. BeoPlayer locates the track or group and highlights it. You can then click a track to play it. If you search by track number, the track is played as soon as it is located.

You can search for a group name or track number in all play modes, regardless of the sorting criterion you have chosen. Searching for a track name is only possible from TITLE mode.

To search for tracks...

  • Move the cursor over to the left side of the screen, and click the triangular tab that appears there. The current sorting, e.g. GENRE, appears, and the current track being played is highlighted.
  • Use the keyboard to type the name of the desired track or group, e.g. 'Blues', or...
  • ...if you wish to play a track within the current group, type the number of the track.
  • As you type, your search entry appears at the top of the screen, and BeoPlayer locates the desired track or group. If it does not locate a track or group with the exact name you have entered, it will highlight the track or group whose name most closely resembles the name you have entered. If you enter a track number which exceeds the number of tracks in the current group, no track is played.
  • If you search by track name, the located track is highlighted. If you search by group name, the first track in the located group is highlighted in the list. If you search by track number, the track is played automatically as soon as it is located.
  • Click a track to play it.


N.RADIO

Use your keyboard to enter the name or country of a specific station, or the name of a group in the current sorting, e.g. 'Soft rock'. BeoPlayer locates the group and highlights it. You can then click a station to listen to it.

Searching for a station name is only possible from Titles mode.

To search for radio stations...

  • Move the cursor over to the left side of the screen, and click the triangular tab that appears there. The current sorting, e.g. Titles, appears, and the current station being played is highlighted.
  • Use the keyboard to type the name of the desired station, e.g. 'Sky', or...
  • ...if you wish to listen to a station within the current group, type the number of the station.
  • As you type, your search entry appears at the top of the screen, and BeoPlayer locates the desired station. If it does not locate a station with the exact name you have entered, it will highlight the station whose name most closely resembles the name you have entered. If you enter a station number which exceeds the number of stations in the current group, no station is played.
  • If you search by station name, the located station is highlighted. If you search by group name, the first station in the located group is highlighted in the list. If you search by station number, the station is played automatically as soon as it is located.
  • Click a station to listen to it.


PHOTO

Use your keyboard to enter the name or date of a specific photo, or the name of a specific folder in the current sorting, e.g. 'Birthday'. BeoPlayer locates the folder and highlights the first photo. You can then click the photo to view it.

To search for a photo...

  • Move the cursor over to the left side of the screen, and click the triangular tab that appears there. The current sorting, e.g. FOLDERS, appears, and the photo shown is highlighted.
  • Use the keyboard to type the name of the desired group, e.g. 'Birthday', or...
  • ...if you wish to view a photo within the current group, type the number of the photo.
  • As you type, your search entry appears at the top of the screen, and BeoPlayer locates the desired group. If it does not locate a group with the exact name you have entered, it will highlight the group whose name most closely resembles the name you have entered. If you enter a photo number which exceeds the number of photos in the current group, no photo is shown.
  • If you search by photo number, the located photo is highlighted. If you search by group name, the first photo in the located group is highlighted in the list.
  • Click a photo to see it.
