Daily use - PC CD

To play an audio CD on your computer, load the CD in your CD-rom drive and click PC CD. Use the control bar to change tracks, pause playback, or even switch between multiple CDs, if you have more than one CD-rom drive. For information about how you copy music from an audio CD to your BeoPlayer, refer to 'Basic settings' and 'Copy music'.

To play an audio CD...

Click PC CD. Playback of the first track begins.

Once you have selected PC CD, BeoPlayer uses your Internet connection to connect to AMG in order to receive information about the track you are playing.

If you want an overview and to play your CD's directly from the lists, simply click PC CD again to make the PC CD list appear. Otherwise, use the control bar keys...

Click to play an audio CD on another CD-rom drive, or to restart playback of a single CD at the beginning
Click to pause playback of a track
Click to resume playback of a paused track
Click to play the CD tracks in random order
In order to be able to receive AMG information you must be registered to BeoPlayer/BeoPort.

Play your N.MUSIC tracks

Use the control bar to start, pause or stop playback of your music tracks or step to a new track or list.



Click N.MUSIC to start playback of stored tracks

Click to move to the next track. If the current track is the last in a list, clicking steps to the first track in the next list

Click to restart the current track. Click twice to move to the previous track. If the current track is the first in a list, clicking it twice steps to the last track in the previous list


Click to move to the previous or following list
Click to select a track number directly
Click to pause playback of a track
Click to resume playback of a paused track

Play tracks in random order

  • Click SETUP on the control bar to reveal RANDOM.
  • Click RANDOM to play your tracks in random order. RANDOM turns white. All subsequent tracks are played in random order, also after you exit and restart BeoPort.
  • Clicking while in RANDOM mode steps to a new random track.
  • To return to normal play mode, click SETUP on the control bar to reveal RANDOM again and click RANDOM once. RANDOM turns grey again, and subsequent tracks are played in order.
  • Click EXIT to leave the SETUP menu.

Listen to N.RADIO
Use the control bar to start, pause or stop playback of the available radio stations or step to a new staton or group.
Click N.RADIO to start playback of available radio stations

Click to move to the next radio station. If the current station is the last in a group, clicking steps to the first station in the next group

Click to move to the previous station. If the current station is the first in a group, clicking it twice steps to the last station in the previous group
Click to move to the previous or following group
Click to select a station number directly

View your pictures
You can use the control bar to view available pictures and navigate between them. But when viewing pictures, you can also zoom in on the chosen picture or rotate the picture and even start a slideshow.
Click PHOTO to view available photos

Click to move to the next photo. If the current photo the last in a group, clicking steps to the first photo in the next group

Click to move to the previous photo. If the current photo is the first in a group, clicking it twice steps to the last photo in the previous group
Click to move to the previous or following group
Click to select a photo number directly

You can also use the functions listed below the picture, e.g.; ZOOM or SLIDESHOW, just click the 'buttons'.
