BeoPlayer

One user interface for all digital media
Bring the rational organisation and elegant control of Bang & Olufsen to your computer with BeoPlayer – a piece of software that works equally well on your computer or TV screen. If you have BeoSound 5 and BeoMaster 5 in your system, you can access music files, internet radio, photos and much more on your BeoVision television. BeoPlayer provides an interface that looks good in your living room and is easy to operate using a remote control. If you use BeoPort, BeoPlayer is the easy and pleasant software for BeoLink control and media organising on your computer. If you have neither, you can still get the distinctive Bang & Olufsen look in a piece of computer software you use every day – we provide BeoPlayer as a free download.

A smooth organiser
of your digital music

BeoPlayer will vacuum your PC for music and photos and present them to you in a straightforward and elegant manner. It offers a simple and powerful way to copy CDs to your computer or BeoSound 5, BeoMaster 5 and BeoSound 6 - always with full information about artist, titles, cover art etc. collected automatically via the internet. This way you can browse through the covers of your music and display the cover art while listening to your favourite music.

If you own BeoSound 2, 3 or 4, BeoPlayer is a great way to manage the contents of your memory cards. Use it to create individual playlists if you do not want to listen to your music one CD at the time and transfer files quickly and conveniently.

Consistently effortless operation

Just because a new car uses radically new technology under the hood, it is nice if the steering wheel remains round. Likewise, the computer-integrating products from Bang & Olufsen function as an extension of the familiar home entertainment products. When you know how to operate one, the other comes naturally and easily. On the computer, the BeoPlayer interface resembles the Beo4 remote control, and operation is kept equally simple and elegant. Even an adult can work it.

Beautiful and discreet on your screen
When you invite electronics into your home, they should be beautiful to look at. This holds true when the electronics are switched on, too. BeoPlayer screens and menus do not recall anything on a computer. Instead, they resemble physical objects that seem to move in three dimensions rather than transition from one screen to another. The design is crafted to match the BeoVision screens that will display it, so your computer monitor will have something to live up to – unless you are using a BeoVision television as your monitor?
