BeoSound 3 is a portable, personal music player that delivers astounding sound. Powered by a rechargeable battery, there are no cables or plugs – just the incredible sound from FM radio or music files on SD memory cards. The tiny SD card reader makes it possible, as with the cassette tapes of yesteryear, to store your favourite music and take it with you wherever you go – to the beach, to a party or on holiday.

BeoSound 3 lets you listen to FM radio and to music recorded on an SD card anywhere, indoors or outside – the superb battery life makes sure of that. Use the alarm clock function to wake up to the sound of the radio, or to your personal choice of music stored on the digital memory card. SD memory card technology is an integral part of your BeoSound 3 options.

Fill the memory card with your favourite music while playing it on BeoSound 4 or download music from your computer, and simply place the card in the specially constructed slot in BeoSound 3. Your recordings are ready to follow you anywhere you want to go.












Looks that go on for miles
Made from robust materials, there are no visible buttons along the brushed anodised aluminium surface of BeoSound 3. Instead, soft-touch operation along with an aerial antenna that appears from nowhere adds a touch of magic to the BeoSound 3 experience. The oversized handle ensures easy carrying and combines with a specially developed bracket for wall mounting.

The design of the new BeoSound 3 portable audio system from Bang & Olufsen echoes past traditions, while on the inside the technology looks to the future. The full-range mono loudspeaker’s performance belies the small size of BeoSound 3, and offers top performance of music and vocal broadcasts. The re-chargeable battery ensures up to 10 hours of continuous listening pleasure. BeoSound 3 supports SD cards up to 2 GB in size. That is a lot of music, so you may have to recharge a couple of times if you want to hear it all.
