Starting off at Bang & Olufsen
Before you arrive for your first day at work at Bang & Olufsen, you will receive a “welcome package” containing a presentation of the company and other useful information.
When you arrive, you will also find that we have given a good deal of thought to your very first day at Bang & Olufsen. The necessary technical equipment will have been ordered for you, and meetings with appropriate figures from your own and other departments will have been booked for you.
In addition, Bang & Olufsen offers all new employees the chance to participate in a special induction process intended to provide a thorough introduction to the company’s history, vision, products, development opportunities and more.

Bang & Olufsen manufactures distinctive and exclusive ranges of TV and music systems, loudspeakers, telephones and multimedia products, which combine state-of-the-art technology with emotional appeal. We also offer our customers system integration solutions for their cars and boats, and we have working relationships centred around high-quality entertainment solutions with international hotel chains and exclusive niche hotels all over the world.

Struer is the nucleus
for product development
The Danish town of Struer is the nucleus of Bang & Olufsen’s tradition for product development – from the germination of the initial idea, through the process of conversion into a concept or design to the “torture test” of the finished product. Both subsidiary and final assembly of the products are carried out in our Struer facility and our new factory in the Czech Republic.

Bang & Olufsen’s core competences, which are crucial to innovative product development, as well as being the driving force behind the development of new business areas, are: video, audio, user interaction, design, system integration, moveable mechanics, materials, surface treatment and – in the context of all competences – quality.
We take your career and skills development seriously
Bang & Olufsen is committed to holding onto its employees through skills and career development programmes, both national and international. We demonstrate this commitment in practice through a host of different activities such as talent development, master’s courses and formalised career plans for managers, project managers, project co-ordinators, experts and other specialists.
We provide general, internal courses for all employees in areas such as personal development, communication, creative processes, visual mediation and negotiation. At present, we are running a major programme of supplementary personal and professional training for our production staff under the banner of “Skills Development in Production”.
