You will become part of ICEpower, based in Kgs. Lyngby near Copenhagen. The company is owned by Bang & Olufsen and we develop and manufacture high performance Class D audio solutions for consumer, professional, automotive and mobile audio applications. Our customers and business partners include world renowned brands such as Bang & Olufsen, Asus, Bowers & Wilkins, RCF, TEAC, Rotel, D.A.S, Martin Logan, Fender and many more.
Conduct business-to-business sales activities
As Sales Manager, you maintain and establish good working relations with our existing customers. At the same time, you approach new potential customers to present and sell our products. You will be in charge of the European business-to-business marked and a significant portion of your time, you will travel to meet the customers at their place of business.
At the same time, you occasionally participate in exhibitions and trade fairs in Europe and the United States where you meet and network with our customers. An important task will be to make sales forecasts and estimate how much your clients will be purchasing within a 6-12 month time frame.
Your will get to work with 8 dedicated colleagues in the Sales department as well as partners in Japan and the United States. Our products are market leading and your central challenge will be to support your customers while you drive and manage a long sales process that often takes up to 12 months.
Music and Hi-Fi enthusiast with sales experience and technical insight
Your education is not as important as your business-to-business sales experience. However, you could have a background as an Electronic Engineer combined with a business education. You are used to selling complex technical products and if you are a musician/interested in sound equipment and Hi-Fi, it would be a plus. Finally, your English is close to perfect both written and spoken – and knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.
As a person, you are outgoing and structured and therefore able to approach new and existing customers, driving the sales process forward. With your strong communication and networking skills, you are able to establish good relations with customers and be their advisor on the technical products. Further, you have a keen business sense and the endurance to drive sales processes that may take several months.
