How to become a Retail Partner

There are five basic steps to becoming a Bang & Olufsen Retail Partner

First contact

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you would enjoy and succeed at then your first step is to complete an application form. You can also request a prospectus online.

Initial interview

Following receipt of your application an appointment will be made for an informal telephone interview during which you can find out more about what’s involved in becoming a Retail Partner and we can learn more about you. If we decide to proceed, you will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement and subsequently receive details of our business model.

The approvals process

You will be invited for a face-to-face interview meeting at our head office. If both parties then agree to move forward, you will be asked to return for an in-depth full assessment day meeting.

The business plan

At this stage we can discuss your business and marketing plans, possible start-up team, likely store location(s) and sales targets.

The contract

If your business plan is approved, the partner agreement can be signed. From here you will follow a well tried and tested store opening programme involving training, store design and pre-launch marketing.

Timescale

From your initial application to the signing of the contract will typically take between 12 to 36 weeks. This will depend very much on the nature of your application, the store location eventually selected and other factors.
