CD Ripping Device
One of Bang & Olufsens key focus points is to make living with our products as convenient and uncomplicated as possible. Therefore we have decided to provide a solution to our customers that makes the transition from analogue to digital as easy and uncomplicated as possible. For customers who prefer to have physical CDs we are now introducing a CD Ripping Device accessory for BeoSound 5. This device makes it as easy as it gets to get physical CDs transformed into digital music, which can be stored on your hard disk. It takes less than 10 minutes and is as simple as loading a CD in a CD player.
The CD Ripping Device rips your CDs in the so-called WMA lossless quality, which means you get the exact same sound quality on your hard disk as when you listen to the CD itself. You even get cover art, artist and album name automatically, so once it become part of your music collection, you can easily find it again. You can start playback of your new CD as soon as the first track has been ripped and when it is done with the entire CD, the CD is automatically ejected and the CD Ripping Device is ready for the next.
Visually, the CD Ripping device is an elegant and discrete solution, which is mounted directly on the tube behind your BeoSound 5. Easy to access yet discretely hidden away. It can be added to existing BeoSound 5 installations without any hazzle or drilling of extra holes. No extra wiring is required.
