Sometimes the Most Moving Thing

is to Move Another

Shenaz Treasury remembers the day, years back, when she squealed to her mother her big news: She was going to be an actress! Though her parents had forbidden her to watch films or TV, the rebellious seven-year-old had stumbled onto a film screening in a nearby village in southern India.

“There was this magnificent white screen stretching my entire field of vision,” Shenaz describes. “The strings of the sitar murmured during high points in the story. The actors on the screen provoked the audience to dance along with them – to swoon, cry, whistle and chatter. Sitting there, we were all so captivated by the characters – you couldn’t tell where the celluloid story ended and the one in the audience began.”

This moment inspired Shenaz to hitch her dreams to Bollywood. She read, wrote, memorised and performed, climbing the ranks on India’s most glamorous movie sets.

Today, Shenaz lives in New York City and stars on one of America’s longest running television shows. “I revisit that memory of the village screening to recall the art of performance. It’s my job to stir up tensions in the viewers’ hearts,” Shenaz remarks.

Bang & Olufsen shares Shenaz’s faith in the power of stories. The way they are expressed – whether it is in a village or a living room – can affect the receiver. They ignite a spark within and giving meaning to a dream. Everyday Shenaz is living hers, and it all started because of one little film.

BLACK IS BACK WITH BEOVISION 10

Experience BeoVision 10 Black, the new colour option for the BeoVision 10, featuring an all-new high-gloss polished black frame.

In contrast with the standard silver BeoVision 10, which reflects the colour of the wall to become nearly invisible, the black high-gloss solution alternatively creates a borderless television.

The black screen emerges from the anodised frame in a way that makes the surface stand out proudly from the wall.

Bang & Olufsen also introduces a new red speaker cover option, enabling a black/red power combination that emphasises the sculptural form of the television and signals warmth, strength and comfort. The existing colour palette remains an option for BeoVision 10 Black, while the new red speaker cover can also be paired with the natural aluminium frame.

BeoVision 10 is a full HD television with LED-panel and is the slimmest flat screen from Bang & Olufsen.
