BeoPort, which succeeds BeoLink PC 2, is a module adding two new digital sources to your Bang & Olufsen music system: Internet Radio and access to your digital music stored on your office computer. By adding BeoPort to your audio system, you can enjoy your Internet radio stations and digital music in any linked room in your home.

Please note that if your BeoSound 2 was purchased together with a software version previous to 2.00, you will need to update the BeoSound 2 firmware using the BeoSound 2 version 2.00 installation for PC.

BeoConnect - 1.14.00
Wish to use your Mac as a BeoMedia 1 client - Now you can.
BeoConnect is the application that enables Mac OS X to act as a BeoMedia 1 client. It lets you connect and transfer media files such as music and photos to your BeoMedia 1.
BeoConnect supports both Intel and PowerPC based Mac's, and will run on OS X version 10.4 and above.

iTunes plugin
By downloading the software provided on this site to iTunes, your BeoSound 6 or Serenata music player will be compatible with the iTunes music player (for Mac). iTunes will then recognise your BeoSound 6 or Serenata as an external music player and you can easily transfer music using the iTunes application.
- Covers are only transferred to BS6 if manually embedded into music file. To manual embed the cover in iTunes, press "OPTION + I" at the wanted song, and drag and drop the cover picture into artwork window in iTunes
- If you use BeoConnect, you must follow these steps when installing this plugin:
- Remove BeoConnect application, and remove the folder “iTunes” placed in: ~Users/"user"/Library/
- Enter the admin password to verify removal.
- Empty trash
- Restart the MAC
- Install BeoSound plugin
- Install BeoConnect
- Start iTunes
You can also transfer music to your BeoSound 6 or Serenata by simply plugging the USB cable to your Mac and dragging music files to the BeoSound 6 or Serenata folder appearing on the desktop.
