The new BeoSound 6 digital music player has landed. Dressed in beautiful stainless steel, silicone rubber and scratch resistant glass, this WMA or MP3 player has a massive 4Gb internal memory which will hold approximately 1000 high quality music files. Minimal button presses will quickly take you to the exact album, artist or track you wish to listen to, and you can of course see what you are listening to on the colour LCD display. You can, if you wish, connect BeoSound 6 to your home hi-fi system allowing you access to multiple music files through your more powerful home loudspeakers. BeoSound 6 is supplied with an attractive leather case, neck carry strap and A8 Earphones.

Beo5 can be programmed to be as simple, or as flexible as you need. The 2.5 inch touch screen controls makes operation simple, and channel logos on the screen means no more remembering all those channel numbers. The lower half of Beo5 features tactile buttons and the famous Bang & Olufsen volume wheel. The already excellent selling BeoVision 8-26 is now available in a 32" model. Basically the same television as introduced to you in May this year (see below) but in a larger 32" size, more suited to living room applications. Still boasting a new high glare LCD screen complete with low reflection coating and powerful active loudspeakers. Automatic picture control is also standard, and the television is also HD ready, pefect for watching HD programmes or playing the very latest video games available in HD format. As before, the best just got even better, and also bigger.

DVD 2 has arrived, the most flexible recording unit ever from Bang & Olufsen. DVD 2 is a superior DVD player and recorder complete with built in 250gb Hard Disc Drive which will record over 40 hours of you favourite TV programmes. You can then, if you wish edit and archive your recordings, or when you have watched them, delete them altogether!! Simple HDD recording means you will never be in a rush to find find a tape or disc again, or if you wish, use the timer function for programmes that start later on. You can also use DVD 2 to transfer footage from your video camera to keep those special moments on DVD forever, and yes, these disc can then be used on virtually any DVD player.

The long awaited "FreeView DVB-T" module
At last, the FreeView DVB-T module is now available. Available to order already integrated into your new BeoCenter 6-26, BeoVision 7-32 and 7-40 variants, or should you already have these products, the module can be retro-fitted. Customers with previous sets who would like the DVB-T option, dont panic! The module can also be fitted into, BeoVision 3-32, BeoVision 5, BeoVision 6-26 and BeoVision Avant DVD 28 & 32.
The new module will offer easy Beo4 operation of all available FreeView channels and radio stations, less clutter as the module fits inside the TV product, and is environmentally friendlier as the internal module uses less electricity than a seperate FreeView box. The eagerly awaited Bluetooth EarSet 2 is now available. This Bluetooth enabled wireless headset will work with either your existing mobile phone, or of course, with our fantastic Serene mobile phone. Designed with the same comfort of the A8 earphones, this headset can be worn for hours with no discomfort at all. We are pleased to announce the launch of a brand new member of the Bang & olufsen LCD family, the BeoVision 8. {Pictured above left} This is a television that is designed to be on all of the time, a more casual approach to television rather than it being the centre of attention. It could be in the kitchen when preparing dinner or perhaps in the office to keep upto date with the news. BeoVision 8 will be available in a 26” and a 32” version with the 26” version being launched during May and the 32” to follow later in the year. The new BeoVision 8 has a new high glare surface and a low reflection coating, with a high light transmission and a high black level. The set also has Bang & Olufsen automatic picture control which dynamically changes the TVs black and white balance, according to the light in the room, to help ensure the best possible picture at all times. The new set benefits from a superb new loudspeaker which consists of two 2" midrange / tweeter drivers and one 4" center bass bass loudspeaker which places focus towards speech reproduction. Whether it be gaming or watching movies, the best just got better.

BeoVox 1, is a passive, in wall / ceiling speaker ideal for extending you Bang & Olufsen Masterlink system to parts of the house where electronic speakers cannot venture, such as the bathroom. BeoVox 1 is designed to be invisible, but should it be noticed, then the oval shape and Bang & Olufsen logo will ensure a sophisticated look. BeoVox 1 will blend in perfectly with plastered ceilings and between spotlights. BeoVox 1 was concieved as a 2 way speaker system featuring a high quality 1" treble unit and a 6.5" mid range / bass unit that have been optimsed for in wall / ceiling use. The treble can be adjusted according to where the speakers are mounted ensuring the best possible performance, even the speaker grille has been manufactured to exact acoustic painting techniques as not to affect performance.

BeoLab 9, one of the latest addition to the loudspeaker range and is now on demonstration with the BeoVision 7-40 home cinema system and also with a BeoSound 3000 music system. Using some of the technology from the top of the range BeoLab 5 loudspeaker, BeoLab 9 features the Acoustic Lens Technology to create a 180 degree stereo image that can be enjoyed from almost anywhere in the room. And, with 400 watts of music power devoted to bass reproduction alone, BeoLab 9 is very capable of creating cinema like depth from bass in music and explosions from movies. Like the 23 inch model introduced recently, BeoCenter 6-26 is BeoLink capable, which in addition to its powerful active loudspeakers makes it an ideal second TV to access audio and video sources from other connected Bang & Olufsen products around the home. Its built-in Set Top Box Controller enables you to operate a number of external FreeView and Sky set top boxes using the supplied Bang & Olufsen remote control.

In addition to FM radio, BeoSound 3 has a SD (Secure Digital) card reader and clock-timer elegantly packaged together with a rechargeable battery in the robust, anodised aluminium cabinet. The full-range mono loudspeaker’s performance belies the small size of BeoSound 3, and offers top performance of music and spoken word broadcasts. The addition of a minijack headphone socket provides stereo playback for private listening.
