Holly Terry

For Art of the A9 Sydney Edition, Australian artist Holly Terry draws on the energy and emotion of lived experience. More abstract than the recognizable lifestyle scenes often found in her work, the artwork explores the duality between playfulness and sophistication through a considered color palette and expressive, color-blocked forms.

For Terry, this balance reflects life itself: while some moments may feel serious, important or urgent, there is always space for lightness and moments to simply relax into.
