Playlist notes
Ever since I was little, my father filled our days with music. Those moments became the roots of my musical identity. These days, I can hardly imagine a day without it. Music gives me the confidence to be myself and has supported me throughout my life. For this playlist, I selected songs by artists I truly love, imagining the many different scenes and emotions that come with a summer journey.

Playlist note
In my twenties, summer meant constantly moving between Japan and the rest of the world, dancing wherever I went.
I would get on a plane and dance. I would return to Japan and dance again.Something I had loved so freely as a child had become my profession. Before long, I found myself overwhelmed by thoughts of how others saw me and how I was being judged.
I stopped enjoying dance. I began to dislike travelling. At times, even music itself became frightening.
Now in my thirties, I live by a different principle. I no longer dance for someone else. I dance for myself.
I take slow walks with my dog, go for drives, and cook while enjoying a drink. Whatever the moment, music is always there beside me. These days, I have stepped away a little from travelling the world and dancing without restraint. Even so, music still carries my heart and body somewhere far away. It still takes me on a journey.
For me, music itself is the most luxurious journey of all. This playlist is a collection of small, everyday adventures. Dance is life itself. Without music, life cannot shine.
Music is my ally and my weapon. Something I can love deeply and sometimes almost hate. A companion I could never admire enough.
Thank you, music.

TOWA TEI made his U.S. debut in 1990 as a member of Deee-Lite with the album World Clique. Since then, he has released 13 solo albums, three albums under the name SWEET ROBOTS AGAINST THE MACHINE, as well as works with METAFIVE.

He also composed the score for The Song of Four Wings, one of the episodes in Star Wars: Visions Volume 3, released on October 29. His latest album, ZAMBIENT, will be released on August 21, 2026.
Playlist note
I arranged this playlist to follow the story of a summer journey: departure, to the seaside, to the groove of the drive, sunset, and the night — TOWA TEI

Playlist note
When I think of a summer journey, the first things that come to mind are the sea, cars, skies, sweat, and dreams. And Then, of freedom, dizziness, loss, and reunion. That may sound a little pretentious, but this is simply a very personal summer playlist filled with all the music I love.I curated it with the Beoplay H100 in mind, and hope you'll enjoy it through your favorite streaming service. Listening to it in a car equipped with Bang & Olufsen's premium sound system would be ideal, but that may still be some way off.
Keiko Hitotsuyama
Keiko Hitotsuyama is a stylist known for her versatile approach, spanning everything from high fashion to streetwear. In addition to editorial work, she has built a strong reputation through advertising and commercial campaigns. In 2014, she founded the fashion consulting and production company SLITS inc. Playlist note
Music has always been by my side as I move between New York and Tokyo. The artists and genres I was obsessed with as a student have never lost their appeal. Even after all these years, I find myself loving them more with age.For this playlist, I've selected some of those treasured favourites, along with the quiet piano pieces I've been listening to lately and new music I've discovered during my travels.
I arranged the tracks with a natural flow in mind, like the changing scenes of a day: from the crisp air of the morning, through the energy of the city at noon, the intense summer sun, sunset, and finally the stillness of the night. Next year, I'm planning a trip through South America. I'm already looking forward to listening to this playlist while experiencing the light, the wind, and even the scents of the places I encounter along the way. Just as travel changes the scenery around us, music can reveal a completely different side of itself depending on where we are and how we feel.
The same song can take on a new character with every place and moment. Transcending time and borders, these are the songs that enrich the time I spend on the move. This playlist is a collection of those companions that have always travelled with me.
