The BANG & OLUFSEN × FRAGMENT

Collaboration pop-up will launch at department stores across Japan starting May 20Fragment

collaboration pop-up

To commemorate the collaboration between Bang & Olufsen and fragment, pop-up events will be held ahead of the rest of the world, starting at Isetan Shinjuku, followed by Hankyu Umeda Main Store and Iwataya Main Store. The pop-up spaces at Isetan Shinjuku and Hankyu Umeda are designed by the architecture studio DAIKEI MILLS. Centered around the theme “Extension Cord: Expansion,” the design uses extension cords as a material to express a space that embodies both the minimal beauty and functionality of industrial products, while also conveying a certain rawness. By reinterpreting the necessity of power sources within spatial design, elements that are typically concealed are intentionally exposed and “expanded,” creating a soft spatial division that allows visitors to engage more directly with the products. Visitors can enjoy not only experiencing the Bang & Olufsen × fragment products, but also the immersive spatial design itself.
