Denmark‑based audio‑visual brand Bang & Olufsen will host its 100th‑anniversary exhibition, “Beautiful Sound and Design – 100 Years of Exquisite Sound and Design Woven by Bang & Olufsen,” at Omotesando Hills Space O from Friday, April 3 to Sunday, April 12, 2026.Founded in 1925 in Struer, northern Denmark, by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen, Bang & Olufsen has carried forward the founders’ spirit of innovation for a full century.
The brand has continued to create products that seamlessly blend outstanding sound performance with refined, beautiful design—objects that enrich both everyday life and living spaces.
This exhibition highlights Bang & Olufsen’s design philosophy, which harmonizes functionality and aesthetic sensibility, through iconic products, influential designers, and visual communication from each era of the brand’s history. By showcasing both heritage and contemporary products, offering listening experiences, and focusing on craftsmanship, the exhibition explores the brand’s 100‑year‑long design ethos from multiple angles.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy hands‑on listening in dedicated spaces featuring speakers and headphones.In addition, the exhibition will offer pre‑sales of a commemorative book scheduled for publication in May 2026, along with a range of exhibition‑exclusive merchandise.
