B&O terms and conditions

By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. There are six (6) individual prizes consisting of one (1) pair of Beoplay Portal headphones each.

2. Valid entries must be made by respecting the competition mechanism, clicking on the Gleam link provided on the Bang & Olufsen Twitter account on May 16th 2022 and fulfilling the tasks within that link.

3. Entrants can enter the competition only if they live in Europe.

4. Entrants must enter the competition via an Twitter account which is free to create at Twitter.com

5. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter.

6. Employees of Bang & Olufsen, their agents or contractors, Bang & Olufsen brand retailers, and anyone else connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.

7. Entrants must only enter the competition once. Multiple entries or entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups, or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.

8. The five (5) winning entrants will be chosen at random through the Gleam tool. The winners drawn will be final in this regard and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. An additional winner will be selected to win one (1) additional Beoplay Portal headset. This winner will be the first to find all of the given easter eggs embedded in this competition and will not be drawn at random.

9. The winning entrants will be notified by DM (direct message) on Twitter from the @bangolufsen global accounts. The winning entrants shall each be required to respond to the DM (direct message) and herein provide its own name, email, and address for @bangolufsen; such info will only be used for the purpose of administering the prize and will be deleted after the retention period in Bang & Olufsen’s privacy policy available here: https://corporate.bang-olufsen.com/en/legal/privacy-policy and the information should be provided preferably within two (2) hours or contact.

10. The competition will run via the @bangolufsen account on Twitter for five (5) days beginning from 16th of May 2022. Only valid entries made within this period and in accordance with these terms and conditions will be considered.

11. The winning entrant will be notified on Friday 20th of May 2022 at 01:00 pm (CET). If a prize is unclaimed after twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of the winning entry’s DM (direct message) from @bangolufsen, and reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winner, Bang & Olufsen is entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winning entry in question for having done so.

12. No alternative or cash prize will be offered, and the prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.

13. This competition is run by Bang & Olufsen A/S, CVR no. 41257911, Bang og Olufsen Allé 1, 7600 Struer, Denmark, +45 89 87 09 43.

14. Bang & Olufsen reserves the right to disqualify any entrants Bang & Olufsen believes not to be participating within the spirit of the promotion or suspects of participating in any unfair or unjust behaviour. Bang & Olufsen reserves the right to use its discretion in all respects and to enforce any penalty or sanction it deems appropriate.

15. The Bang & Olufsen team reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equivalent value in the event of circumstances outside of its control. Bang & Olufsen shall not be liable to any of the winners for any delay in them receiving their prizes. The Bang & Olufsen team reserves the right to alter, amend, foreclose or withdraw the promotion or the terms and conditions of entry at any time and without prior notice.

16. One (1) pair of headphones will be given away as part of an easter egg competition. For this, users will be able to participate through Twitter, where they will reply to Bang & Olufsen’s tweet, naming as many easter eggs as possible. The competition will start on May 18th 2022 and the winner will be found on May 19th 2022. Whoever names the most easter eggs will win. In case of multiple users naming the same number of approved easter eggs, we will draw the winner at random. This giveaway is available to users world wide.
