Spatial Audio is a technology that imitates how we perceive sound in the real world. Imagine yourself in an open space: you’re listening to your favourite artist through loudspeakers, their tunes carried gently by the air and interacting with the space. The sound feels precisely placed yet immerses you all around, dancing between each ear.
In the real world, this is known as “interaural crosstalk”, meaning the sound from each loudspeaker reaches the ears at different times. It’s what gives real-world sounds their natural flavour. But with headphones, we lose this feeling: Spatial Audio brings it firmly back.

Headphones are attached your head, meaning the sound moves with your head, eliminating the natural dynamic cues we experience when listening over loudspeakers.
However, Spatial Audio offers a device update that enables the dynamic cues: head tracking. By tracking your head movements, the dynamic cues are automatically restored, delivering a more natural listening experience with a greater sense of immersion.
