With a shared passion for modern craftsmanship and premium materials, B&O and CLOT are celebrating the blend of two cultures with a new take on iconic design. Like the rhythm of a heartbeat, music allows listeners to discover new experiences, encounter new feelings, and connect with other heartbeats in unison. From these shared connections, a common culture arises as art, knowledge and music evolve. As a result, the aluminium grill surface of Beosound A1 is tinted in a bright metallic red to resemble a blood cell that carries the essentials for culture creation as it channels music to our ears. Red colour is also deeply symbolic in Chinese culture.

The symbolic colour of red in Chinese culture represents CLOT bringing the rich traditions of the East to the modern era. Referencing the brands signature style, the CLOT logo is printed onto the speaker grill to create a daring and visual impact whilst keeping the essence of Bang & Olufsen’s design aesthetic.
This was really designed to simply keep the original aesthetic. Red is our colour and by adding our CLOT logo on top of it just doubles down as where we come in as B&O Partner. (…) Everything is automated nowadays. By highlighting the design, so that it also becomes a design item, and not just some metal put together that gives you a sound, we are moving forward into the lifestyle of the future.

Beosound A1 is a highly portable speaker with loud and captivating rich sound, designed to be shared by everyone around – for hours on end. Fully dust and waterproof, Beosound A1 is primed for up to 18 hours of non-stop play.
