Wireless speakers FAQ
Once you have set up the speaker in your phone via the Bang & Olufsen App, start your preferred streaming app. Then, choose between Beolink Multiroom, AirPlay or Google Cast streaming. Depending on the specifications of your products, you may have different choices. Check out product specifications to see which streaming features are supported.
Connect your Bluetooth speaker to power. Press and hold the Bluetooth button. A light indicator on your speaker will start flashing blue. In your phone or tablet, go to the settings menu. Activate Bluetooth and select your speaker in the menu. You are now ready to play music via Bluetooth.
Wi-Fi speakers distribute music using your Wi-Fi network, so you are able to stream music to multiple speakers in one or more rooms. Bluetooth speakers stream music in one room only. With Wi-Fi speakers, you can play high-quality music in lossless quality in all speakers in the network. While with Bluetooth speakers, a limited distance is required between the speaker and the phone or tablet paired with the speaker to maintain the connection. Additionally, Bluetooth streaming uses more battery power on your phone or tablet than Wi-Fi streaming.
Wireless speakers (connected to your network) have three main placement options: 1. Stereo pairing two of the same speakers 2. Connecting two or more speakers in the same room 3. Connecting two or more speakers in separate rooms throughout your home

Some of our speakers support stereo pairing between identical speakers. See the specifications on our website to check if your speakers support this feature. You can stereo pair two speakers with these easy steps: 1. Download the Bang & Olufsen App and go to the 'Sound Settings' menu. 2. Select 'Create stereo pair' and the speakers you wish to pair. 3. Your stereo setup is ready. You will be able to select the stereo paired speakers when playing music or streaming content with Airplay, Google Cast or the Bang & Olufsen App. Note that you can only stereo pair two speakers at a time. It is not possible to make a surround sound setup with connected speakers.
You can improve your current setup with a higher performance, more speakers and more listening modes. If you add more speakers in the same room, they can create a richer and more powerful listening experience. Also, you can add speakers in other rooms, increasing the flexibility of the sound system, as you can listen to your music where you want in your home. Another option is to add speakers with additional features such as different wireless connectivity options or additional listening modes.
